I’m sure you’re aware how many beat makers are available today to choose from. Some of them are worth, some are garbage, as with anything. Products often fail to deliver what’s claimed, but you can find very good ones as well, that actually do the job as advertised. What you might soon have on your desktop is really nice and straightforward beat making software that is capable of doing all different styles and genres of music. I’m quite addicted to music softwares, and like to have each and every, have to admit that Dr Drum has the best sound library among all competing beat programs. It won’t be a lie if I say Dr Drum is easily comparable with much expensive music softwares like Reason or Fruity Loops, at least when it comes to sounds.

You can see on pictures that it is very simple and user friendly designed, simply because it’s geared towards newcomers in beat making business, and we can all be easily distracted and demoralized when something doesn’t go smooth in music production. Not all of us is born with skills to learn complex softwares in days. Not all of us can afford full setup either. This is exactly where Dr Drum can be of much help. Having all the essential features needed to make a kick ass beat is why I love this tool. It enables you to concentrate on what you planned to do. Sure, it can have all flashy effects and stuff, but trust me, with this tool you will make what you wanted to.

When I was starting, biggest problem was that I never finished what I started, every project ended totally different than what I originally had in mind. Why? Because I was only playing with all kinds of effects and plugins. Guess what, I need half an hour to make sick beat with Dr Drum, exactly the one I wanted.

Dr Drum beat maker has 16 tracks sequencer and 3 main editors: Drums, Bass and Keys. Everything is done there. Each has top quality sounds which really make the job much easier. No need to mention they are all 44.1 studio quality .wav files, and you’ll export your track in industry standard quality.

Drum Editor

Drum editor is packed with huge library of drum kits for all genres. No way you won’t like these. There is a 12 pad editor and every sound can be controlled to ensure best possible sound. You can control pitch of the sound, low, mid and high tones and pan. It’s very simple to understand, simply draw your beat in pattern and click play. Almost everything will sound good :) . Nothing there that could be too complicated. Dr Drums drum editor is the most powerful feature in this beat maker, and followed with nice bass and synth sounds it’s so easy to create tracks you can be proud of.

Bass And Key Editors

Dr Drum bass editorOf course, being a beat making software doesn’t mean it should lack in bass an key sounds. In fact, Dr Drum offers huge sound bank of high quality bass sounds, from deep low basses to filthy ones, as well as tons of synth sounds to play melodies with. And if you’re not satisfied with all of them just import your own. Dr Drum has 4 octave keyboard so you have a nice playground. It’s easy to do great melodies and background sounds. You also have ability to adjust filter frequency and resonance, and also LFO feature to give an extra uniqueness to the sounds.

Dr Drum doesn’t use any mp3 sounds, only high quality .wav, and really cool feature is ability to upload your masterpiece directly to YouTube and share with the world.

Bottom line is that Dr Drum is worth the price, and will be a great tool for you. Excellent choice if you want to get into beat making but don’t want to mess with really sophisticated music softwares and spend days on YouTube trying to figure out what each knob means. Here you have all the basic stuff that you need to make your first beat in much higher quality than you might expected.

Dr Drum Is Coming Soon

Hi guys! I gotta say, when I first heard about Dr Drum, I was very intrigued with the software and it’s capabilities. Basically, it’s a beat making software, filled with super high quality pro sounds. Trust me, you won’t need any beat maker for a long time.

I was one of the early birds to see Dr Drum in action, no need to say it’s impressive. Although it’s not a complete DAW, it has a purpose, which is to make beats. I will add my complete review of this beat making software in the next few days.

In short, Dr Drum is for guys that have little or no experience in beat making, but also for those who want their production to be smoother.

Dr. Drum beat making software is soon to be released. It is a digital beatmaker that is supposed to hit the market big time. Beatmakers are quite popular these days, this one is expected to be high quality and user friendly at the same time.

I can’t wait it to be released, soon as it’s up I’ll create a comprehensive Dr.Drum review and test every single detail on it. Beatmakers are one of my biggest passions, as well as creating beats.  Proper tool is something that i’m always on. Many of them don’t seem to get the job done as I’d usually like, hopefully Dr. Drum is going to be one step ahead of competitors.

According to some insight info, Dr Drum should have more features and more quality sounds than competing beat maker softwares at the moment. We are yet to see that. It’s true that some beatmakers are simply below standard, and Dr. Drum is expected to be of more quality.
